first, from the Batman collection of crazy shit on the internet: "Coming Soon..."
http://www.epicponyz.com/2010/12/coming-soon-justice.html
I like the build up, but the plot seems a little lame.
second up, a lol that needs no explanation...well, actually: "WTF"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/12/02/funny-facebook-fails-wtf/
As you can see, being tech savvy has it's advantages.
Nest up, Mapquest knows when you try and troll it: "Art of Trolling"
http://memebase.com/2010/12/01/memes-art-of-trolling-smell-ya-later-mapquest/
The AI has a troll save of +5
Finally, from the photobomb world, the funniest fat black kid ever: "Cutest Couple?"
http://thisisphotobomb.memebase.com/2010/11/30/photobomb-that-guy-such-a-cute-couple/
Crazy white people and their constant need to photo things!

nest up, from my favorite place on the web, thedailywh.at: "Ice Sculpture of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1987157259/ice-sculpture-of-the-day-eight-meters-of-icy

Third, from Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal: "The Stork is a Lie"
http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=2078#comic
I expect my mom to do this to me someday...
Finally, from cracked.com, for those of you who plan on doing something insanely romantic: "6 Romantic Movie Gestures Than Can Land You in Jail"
http://www.cracked.com/article_18756_6-romantic-movie-gestures-that-can-get-you-prison-time.html?wa_user1=1&wa_user2=Movies+%26+TV&wa_user3=article&wa_user4=recommended
I personally think 4 is the creepiest, but we all know that #1 is #1 for a reason. Thank you Meg Ryan for being Tom Cruise Crazy before Tom Cruise went crazy...

Daily Collective - Day 14
First up, from thedoghousediaries.com, an American icon: "Thanksgiving Day Blues"
http://www.thedoghousediaries.com/?p=2408
Isn't it just the normal American thing to bitch that we are too full, then when we're empty again, bitch that we're upset that we didn't eat enough.
Next up, from thedailywh.at, a true SIGN of the times: "Sign of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1691558255/sign-of-the-day-of-the-day-im-working-on-it
Because it wasn't good enough, now we're constructing days? I know that we're trying to "build a better society one day at a time", but this is ridiculous!
Up Third, from lefthandedtoons.com, a post-turkey day turkey: "Bagpiped"
http://www.lefthandedtoons.com/881/
I can see why Scots stayed in Scotland, when you've got something that is both funny and edible, there's no reason to take over the rest of the world!
Finally, from cracked.com, a true Black Friday epiphany: "6 secret monopolies you didn't know run the world"
http://www.cracked.com/article_18845_6-secret-monopolies-you-didnt-know-run-world.html
Pretty interesting stuff here, and I personally, will never look at Disney the same way again!
http://www.thedoghousediaries.com/?p=2408

Daily Collective - Day 13
first up, from redbubble.com, the best shirt to come out of the HP theme: "Coed Naked Quidditch"
http://www.redbubble.com/people/huddycreative/t-shirts/6332078-2-coed-naked-quidditch-vintage-silver
I thought it was pretty cool, might even order one. It's a sham though, that these kind of clothes will be done with by August of next year...oh well, Harry Potter Day comes but once a year
Next up, from yesterday, but still a good one, from thedailywh.at: "Alternate Movie Posters of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1673647741/matt-ranzetta-swfilm
BEST RECREATION EVER!!!! To whichever amazing nerd took the time to makes these, God bless you!
Third, from failbook.failblog.org, the best thing ever: "Shouldn't,,,Be...Laughing"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/11/24/funny-facebook-fails-shouldnt-be-laughing/
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA!!!!!!
Finally, for the Holiday: "Blind Luck"
http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:VJbJq7P9rSuC6M:http://eroundlake.com/blog/Thanksgiving.jpg&t=1
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

Daily Collective - Day 12
First up, from techcrunch.com via thedailywh.at: "Trademark your face for facebook"
http://techcrunch.com/2010/11/23/patent-office-agrees-to-facebooks-face-trademark/
It's an interesting concept and actually has some precedent in the past of trademarks and patents. I really like the article, because it looks at it from bother the humorous and the serious.
Next up, from memebase.com: "Challenge Accepted"
http://memebase.com/2010/11/24/memes-challenge-accepted-crocodiles/
I want to do it! Nuff Said!
Thirdly, from thisisphotobomb.membase.com, a creepy dad and his baby: "Family Shots"
http://thisisphotobomb.memebase.com/2010/11/24/photobomb-that-guy-family-shots/
I seriously feel that this is photoshop'd but at the same time, i feel creepy bastards also have the power to reproduce. I love the crazy bitch that married him and birthed the odd spawn in the photo. keep up the good work bomber!
Finally, from the best smart comic out there, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal: "POW!"
http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=2072#comic
As an economics minion, I mean minor, I laughed so hard I shed a tear! This was an epic comic that made today even more epic than it already was before I got home from seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows!

Daily Collective - Day 11
First, from thedailywh.at, and the obvious sarcasm implied: "Looks Legit of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1660224547/looks-legit-of-the-day-i-have-nothing-but-good
Nothing would want me to be more prepared with a gun than this guy staring at me with a half-pedo smile look. Just for all you in Legion, I'd say post the number listed below the picture, but I'm sure the legitimacy of the number is also as legitimate as the program.
Next up, from funnyordie.com, an epic title for an epic article, and mildly nostalgic: "6 Things Clarissa Didn't Explain at All"
http://www.funnyordie.com/lists/c6451e1cf5/6-things-clarissa-didn-t-explain-at-all
Each one of these are legitimate. I barely know any girls that play video games, so to know one that was programming for free is completely unlikely. Then the pot situation seems true too. Clarissa was always calm, the dad was always "Groovy", and no one ever seemed to fight except when Ferguson's coke and Clarissa's pot butted heads. And, I completely agree, what the H311 was up with the talking cat?
I apologize for all the reading this post, but the third piece is from cracked.com, and it's an amazing article: "5 Creepy Ways Humans Are Plunging Into the Uncanny Valley"
http://www.cracked.com/article_18867_5-creepy-ways-humans-are-plunging-into-uncanny-valley.html
The first three are only mildly disturbing, but the last two make me seriously paranoid about the future. I get that people have sexual needs and women aren't the most likely candidates to say yes, so that's fine, and the alterations and expenses of wanting to be an asian cartoon character are fine too. It's the odd "dead" covers on mags and the CGI humans tend to creep me out anyways.
Lastly, a cute little blop to end the post, from failbook.failblog.org: "I'm with Red"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/11/23/funny-facebook-fails-im-with-red/
Understandably, this guy is probably 15/ 16 and curious about the habits of women (granted it goes on for another 50 years, but he's trying to get a head start). I think Red has a point, but yellow has an even greater point. I'd like someone to speak articulately enough so that I can understand what it is they are trying to say, but at the same time, getting out of the house is a positive too.

Daily Collective - Day 10
First up, from wins.failblog.com, "Little Lost Rain Cloud"
http://hackedirl.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/6841f6a3-db3c-4012-bd36-2234622db4b4.jpg
Three words: "I. Love. Stoners." Nothing makes me happier than a a tripped out hippie who claims a cloud.
Second, from puns.icanhascheezburger.com: "Latin Dungeons & Dragons"
http://puns.icanhascheezburger.com/2010/11/19/funny-puns-carp-a-d-m/
To my normal DMs, I will be bringing a fish to our games from now on! Cute little pun for a cute little picture. I like it, I like it alot!
Third, from thedailywh.at, a little homophone fun: "The What's In a Name of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1639397761/whats-in-a-name-of-the-day-oh-its-pronounced
uhm...cake realtors? Seriously, no one should have picked a name like that, especially in bright and sunny California.
Last up, also from thedailywh.at, a little bit of an obvious, yet still needed: "Marquee of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1634273943/marquee-of-the-day-i-miss-the-days-when-this-was
I can understand why it's needed, because everyone everywhere has 3-D everything. As if living in a 4-D world isn't good enough, somehow, 3-D is more entertaining because it has less? I enjoy the subtle play from the movie theatre, but please, for the love of all things holy, DO NOT CATER TO THE STUPID!

Daily Collective - Day 9
First up, from the dailywh.at, I would rename it the "When you see it you'll $#!T Bricks" of the day, but they called it: "The Photo Series of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1620178515/photo-series-of-the-day-boston-globes-the-big
Obviously, you're looking at a Giraffe playing in the middle of the grassy plains. Until you notice the giant lion, hiding by the ridge. It's like the JFK of the animal kingdom, because the real terror isn't from the birds in the sky, it's the second hunter by the grassy knoll.
Next up, from damnyouautocorrect.com: "Hands Down Best Autocorrect Ever"
http://thenextweb.com/shareables/2010/11/19/hands-down-best-iphone-auto-correct-ever/
Clearly, the person receiving the text is flipping a $#!t, and the iphone is clearly trolling. When technology is smart enough to troll us, we know that a terminator is just around the corner.
After the break, we'll see part 3 of this blog
-break-
And now, back to The Daily Collective. Up Next, from Explosm.net, Cyanide & Happiness: "Indie Record Store"
http://www.explosm.net/comics/2239/
Uhm...I don't get it. (JK) I understand the need to be different, to show off to the world what separates us from the crowd, but when you're trying to be so anti-conformist you can't do part of your job, I guess I find it funny be too true at the same time. Please, expect more C&H on here :D
Finally, from imgur.com: "See Where Quitting Gets You"
http://imgur.com/bVfJF
I think it is a cute little 4 panel. It's different in a great way too. You have to admit, on some days, this is what it feels like to the non-sex-having men of America.
Have a good weekend readers! I promise to post during the Thanksgiving week!

Daily Collective - Day 8
First up, from Laughingsquid.com: "Avis Iritus"
http://laughingsquid.com/aves-iratus-an-ornithological-documentation-of-angry-birds/
Love the game, so obviously, love the picture. I think it's a pretty interesting piece of pop-culture art. It's now saved in my "Wallpaper" file, for those days when I need a quick "haha"
Second from the top, the first video piece of this blog, from Cracked.com: "Which Apocalypse Would Be Most Fun?"
http://www.cracked.com/video_18213_which-apocalypse-would-be-most-fun.html
The Zombie start and discussion was best, but only because I am a planner for the Zompocalypse. The Robotpocalypse seemed a little hacky and mildly stupid, because so many movies have been made about preventing a "too smart" robot. I did, however, loved the asteroidocalypse! Blowing up super huge rocks or bone-city sounds damn nice to me!
Third, and Finally, because today was a slow day for the Collective, from the Dailywh.at: "The Life Altering Traffic Design Concept of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1610851884/life-altering-traffic-light-design-concept-of-the
I would certainly prefer this over the old apple "spinning wheel" idea. This would be great, cause you could see and time everything and it would let you know how much time you have left to wait. In a world of constant self-gratification, what better way to maintain it than to give people a timetable for leaving (DID YOU HEAR THAT US CONGRESS??? DID YOU??????!!!) I would vote for this should it go public question time!

Daily Collective - Day 7
New to the Collective trappings, is Dustinland. I thought it was a cool little cartoon so I thought I'd share:
http://dustinland.com/archives/archives464.html
As you can see, the math is logical and therefore correct. It's a basic principle in the idea of douchebaggory too. Something only seems douchbaggish when seen and compared. If a guy who pisses in your coke sees another guy tripping an old lady, the man who pisses in your coke views the grandma tripper as a douchebag, even though, he himself is a douchebag. D = MC(bag) :: Hip = MC(ster). Thank You Einstein, your ability to simplify the quantum mechanics of the macroverse are now but a simple joke to those who don't even fully grasp whatever it is you said in your cute Austrian accent.
Next up, from the Dailywh.at: "Dystopian Future of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1601740610/behold-our-dystopian-future-of-the-day-this-is
Now, I'm not one to enjoy most of Shakespeare, nor am I a fan of cats, so combining the two, naturally, thrills me to death! Of course, this raises the question, "If they do 'Taming of the Shrew', would shrews be offended by cats using 'shrew-face' make-up?" (TAKE THAT NAACP!)((JK))
Second from the bottom, from Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal: "A Summer Letdown"
http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db=comics&id=2062#comic
uhm...I want to know the neighborhood this guy was selling ice-cream to get a boat. Seriously, I could panhandle and make a fortune! I do like, however, that he was willing to scoff the children, at least they'll have shattered dreams to hold themselves together as adults, cause it sure in the hell won't be ice-cream.
Finally, Failbook.com teaches us a powerful lesson in: "Wait. It Doesn't?!"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/11/17/funny-facebook-fails-wait-it-doesnt/
Yeah douche, of course it doesn't if you're a chick, that's why I thank the big man up-stairs I wa born with a penis! In any case, Kelsey looks like she's going to have self-esteem issues in the future if she thinks getting it done fast is something to take pride in, you know, instead of doing it right. With her lack of a father figure and her constant use of a cellphone to update her status, we might have a pornstar in the making. So thank you Brett, for letting Kelsey know that sex should be done well instead of done fast, because those 40 minute porn videos don't make themselves!
Happy Week Anniversary everyone, hope you've enjoyed the work so far, and if not, please, keep it to yourself!

Daily Collective - Day 6
First up, from TheDailyWh.at: "Choose Your Own Adventure"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1592801767/choose-your-own-adventure-of-the-day-in-a-perfect
In all honesty, this is where the universe meets. On one side, happiness and joy, and on the other: Holiday On Ice. Seriously, what nimrod decided to host two events so dissimilar that this pic would even have a chance to be taken? I understand: Diversifying the venue gains more cash, but then pictures like this show up and make you look like a mentally disabled time-stamp.
Next up, from skreened.com: "The New Homeland Security Shirt"
http://skreened.com/oped/junk-search
This is why we have "Special Forces", right? I can see why so many people want to go into the Fed now, when you get to touch boobies and dongs and it's something you get paid to do, always a bright and smiling day in America...We, as a country, are soooooooooo F*^K'd
Third from the top, failbook.com shows us some insight: "Suspicious Bakery"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/11/16/funny-facebook-fails-suspicious-bakery/
uhm...I'm pretty sure you can google it and find a porn site. If not, it's coming soon to an internet near you! Seriously though, it seems funny that this is becoming the norm, where what we hear is written out and taken as the real phrase or word. The only problem is, now, Teachers don't correct it cause they speak and read in text anyways.
Finally, from or friends at Engrish: "Standing is Acceptable"
http://engrishfunny.failblog.org/2010/11/16/engrish-funny-standing-is-acceptable/
I don't think Snoop meant that it should be worn alive when he said "Slip on yo gators and swagger", right? Aside from the deceased Mr. Erwin, who is going to sit on a crocodile? Asians do the craziest stuff, so I guess someone at one time in China or wherever decided to take a seat on the moving snake-skin couch.
Another Day, Another Collective...It's almost Borg sounding, but I promise, I don't want to assimilate...I want nothing to do with you or your asses!

Daily Collective - Day 5
First, from the Left Handed Toons: "How Planes Fly"
http://www.lefthandedtoons.com/toons/justin_howplanesfly.gif
As you can see, my suspect on how this shit works really does have bearing. A giant metal box using some sort of invisible physics to go from one place to another ONLY works...with MAGIC!
Next up, from The Daily What: "Soccer Mom Batmobile"
http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lbybqzqPsG1qzpwi0o1_500.jpg
If my mom was that cool, to not only drive me to practice, but then also fight crime...I'm pretty sure my dinner would get late to the table and I'd be one pissed off little Greek kid. Anyways, epic shit, right? Thank You Californian man who wasted your money to try to be awesome.
Next up, an new Cracked.com article: "7 Real Suits that Will Make the World a Cooler Place"
http://www.cracked.com/blog/7-real-suits-that-will-soon-make-world-cooler-place/
My personal choice is #3, but yours may differ from that...and you would be less of a man to be different! Anyways, pretty bitchin that there will soon be a real ironman suit! The more comic books become real life, the sooner I can read newspapers like graphic novels!
Last up, from Failbook: "Harry Potter Pick-Up Lines"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/11/15/funny-facebook-fails-harry-potter-pickup-lines/
I'm not one to be all "I love HP Humor", but this shit was legit! Too Legit to Quit! I will use these whenever possible, and I challenge all of you to do the same! Also, if you get laid by using these, you must comment!
Also, before I go, Nintendo patented the phrase "On Like Donkey Kong" today....yay world...

Daily Collective - Day 4
As per a positive critique, i will now try to provide a picture link in my blog instead of a site link. I'm hoping this will be improve your reading experience!
First up today, a Daily What: "Pop-Culture Cartography of the Day"
http://26.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lbs5lvKF481qzpwi0o1_r1_500.png
I think this is a hilarious way to show that every state has a tv show. A little disappointed that BayWatch beat out Big Bang Theory for California, but I figure more people are aware of giant fake tits and spray on tans than they are of Quantitative Theory jokes and the humor of String Theory.
Next up, a Failbook post: "A Good Night"
http://cheezfailbooking.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/f67f9055-bbae-4b00-9b46-3eb108e0eefb.jpg
Dude set himself up for that, but you have to enjoy the little humor build up. It's a great one-liner, not the best status to start off with, but it was pretty funny.
Next, a Cracked article: "6 Statistically Full of S#!t Dangers the Media Loves to Hype"
http://www.cracked.com/article_18849_6-statistically-full-s2321t-dangers-media-loves-to-hype.html
HOLY F^%K S#!T!!! THAT"S UNFRIGGIN BELIEVABLE!!! This is a prime example of why I love Cracked.com! They do the funny research to and then put it in such a way that makes it understandable and funny as hell.
Last up, a pic from Historic Lols: "Electrolytes"
http://chzhistoriclols.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/bec0cc10-c507-45dc-a3c4-9a7e7c0255b5.jpg
Dude...one word: "Epic"!
Good Friday to all of you! See you tomorrow!!!

Daily Collective - Day 3
First up, a new site to the DC. Text From Last Night: "Well I'll be a Father Mucker"
http://textsfromlastnight.com/Text-Replies-22297.html
Uhm, seriously? unless his father is Tommy Lee, not sure I would have said that about the 1 Billion old fart fathers in the world. But hey, I hear beer-bellies, bald scalps, and a dick that needs a pill to stay up are the latest trends in Europe, you know, the Continent that gave us "Shoulder Bags" and "The Speedo".
Second up, The Daily What: "Life-Altering Gloves of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1547269436/life-altering-gloves-of-the-day-the-webbed-design
Ok, if they are shit in real life, it's still a possibility for the makings of a kickass superhero costume for next Halloween. Granted, I'm not much of an Ocean swimmer due to the whole "Land-Locked" situation of Oklahoma, but seriously, I'd use them...with no one around...and that if I were attacked by something, my body wouldn't be found...seriously? Gloves with fins? it's not original, but they do look cool.
Next up to the plate, My Life is Average: "I Want To Know"
http://mylifeisaverage.com/story/2604908/
I'd have to agree, a mustache party of some sort would be epic. I've been to one, there was a Viking...yup...So I can see the attraction this person has to want to meet someone who goes to mustache parties. If only she could use her texting device to CALL THE NUMBER...oh well.
Last up, one of my favorite Web-Comics, Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal: "Discount"
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20101111.gif
uhm..."no comment". I do love their style of humor, and maybe this isn't the best example, but seriously, in this economy, who couldn't use a discount in some of our more *awkward cough* needed spending...seriously, this is what the stimulus is for, right?

The Daily Collective - Day 2
From the constant laugh riot that is "Endless Origami", I present to you the difference of creepy versus acceptable stalking:
http://endlessorigami.blogspot.com/2010/11/stalking.html
As you can see, what goes on outside is the obviously creepy method of everything. What you do in your room, with a computer, and the apparent box of kleenex is completely and understandably acceptable *Insert Digital Sarcasm Here* Seriously though, thanks to the internet the abnormal things that are usually dashed out and taken care of when done in public, now gets harvested in the eternal womb of the cyber-lair, but you know the old phrase "Out of sight, out of mind" LOL
Next up, the daily what has the best photo of the day from the end of yesterday.
http://thedailywh.at/post/1529800140/photo-of-the-day-meanwhile-in-diagon-alley
EPIC! What's better than a little Grade A marketing to make things awesome?! Leave it to those darn Canadians for making a really cool pic. Here's to the start of the end of the Potter Series, and all the childhood memories they represent!
Finally, from the world of FML: The Most Honest Boyfriend Ever
http://www.fmylife.com/love/13776224
Should have seen it coming, but this is what you get for asking your boyfriend questions after sex.

The Daily Collective - Day 1
This is a blogging experience dedicated to bringing you the best and brightest of stupidity in the online world. The sites that will be most commonly brought to you are: Cracked.com, The Daily What, Failbook, and family of Texts, MyLife(s), and other sad stories that make our own lives seem amazing!
First up, The Daily What: "Quote of the Day"
http://thedailywh.at/post/1522111659/people-ask-me-why-i-named-the-show-conan-i-did
You can't blame the guy, after the treatment he got from NBC and Jay Leno, it really is the smarter move, but I think this is why Conan has such an amazing following. He turns a terrible situation into a punch-line, turning a drama into a comedy, and making a joke at his own expense because he finds the funny in a shitty situation.
Second, FMyLife.com: "Giving Back to the Community"
http://www.fmylife.com/miscellaneous/13766093
It seems bad enough to get community service for a small infraction, but it's a nice little turn in the end (as you see with most FMLs). This one is pretty bad in particular, because it's not just bad enough to being threatened to getting kicked out of college, but the "Why?" in this one really sucks.
Next up, Cracked.com: "The 5 Reasons why Women are just as shallow as Men (According to Science)"
http://www.cracked.com/article_18866_5-reasons-women-are-as-shallow-as-men-according-to-science.html
I know to the female readers that this seems a little sexist, but it really does have a lot of good information in it. It's not trying to dig into women, it's just a little comparison between men and women (and undoubtably, how men are still the mindless knuckle-draggers of the human world, of course). There are parts in it that made me go "Huh...I never thought of that, but it makes sense."
Finally, Failbooking.com: "Foods of the World"
http://failbook.failblog.org/2010/11/08/funny-facebook-fails-foods-around-the-world/
This one is not necessarily funny, but it is cute. I like the little back and forth, and a couple that had to be strained, but still made it. I'd like to see more of this on Facebook, but I guess you can't expect everyone to be this sharp (HAHA)
Well, another blog on the range for tomorrow. Hope this becomes a daily thing :-)
